1998 Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution

What happens when a manufacturer with a prestigious  racing heritage and an affinity for creating family vehicles decides to have a little bit of fun?

Something that looks like this.

The Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution came to life as a homologation special. That means Mitsubishi entered a racing specific variant of the already sought after Pajero SUV. However, to maintain eligibility, they needed to make the vehicle a production car. Rather than water it down, they opted to release the full racing spec version to the public in an extremely limited quantity.

Only 2500 Pajero Evolutions were built, and this is one of the nicest surviving examples.

Auction grade 4 and boasting an absolutely immaculate condition inside and out, this aggressive racing hero has only 72,325 verified KM’s on the chassis.

Featuring a powerful and efficient engine, a crisp automatic transmission, and 4×4 on demand, this car quickly became legendary in the Rally Raid class of racing with a total of 12 championship titles under its belt. And the homologated version gets to claim the same performance specs as the racing version.

Cosmetically, this car has a factory equipped widebody for a mean stance on the line and some mud flaps to keep the wild road conditions under control. The interior features Recaro seats all around, gauges to measure everything besides your fathers disappointment, and a fully automatic climate control system that was way ahead of its time.

This is a true rarity and a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a piece of racing history. This car will be stored at our facility in Japan until legal to ship.
